Dongguan Metro Line 1 Officially Opens for Operation

On November 28, Dongguan Metro Line 1 officially commenced operations. With a total length of approximately 57 kilometers, it is currently the longest metro line in Dongguan. China's First Dual-Mode Line Featuring "Train-to-Train Communication & Conventional Full Automation" Debuts in Chengdu

The first phase of Chengdu Rail Transit Line 30 recently made its debut. It is the nation's first line equipped with a dual-mode system combining "Train-to-Train Communication" and "Conventional Full Automation." This new technology allows trains to communicate directly, reducing the tracking interval. It also enables capabilities such as autonomous backup operation in case of faults, intelligent dispatching, and even the ability to reverse direction at any point along the line for passenger evacuation.

35th International Railway Safety Council Annual Conference Opens in Hong Kong

Co-hosted by China's National Railway Administration, the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, and the MTR Corporation, the conference opened with the theme "Promoting Railway Safety through Innovation and Cooperation." Construction of Tianjin Airport Station on Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway Fully Commences

It was learned from China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. on November 25 that with the completion of the first reinforcement cage lifting for the underground diaphragm wall, the construction of Tianjin Airport Station on the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway has fully commenced. This provides an important foundation for high-quality underground construction. The Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway is a key component of the "Rail-based Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" network. The section from Baodi to Beichen, along with stations Baodi, Baodin South, and Beichen, opened in December 2022. Currently, the second-phase project (Beichen to Binhai New Area section), invested by Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intercity Railway Investment Co., Ltd., is accelerating. Tianjin Airport Station, located east of Terminal 2 at Tianjin Binhai International Airport, is a three-story underground structure jointly constructed by China Railway Construction Engineering Group and China Railway Construction Group.

First Shield Machine Launched for Taicang Pilot Section of Shanghai-Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Intercity Railway

On November 21, the first shield machine, named "Sutie Pioneer," was successfully launched for the Taicang pilot section of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Intercity Railway. This marks a critical step into the shield tunneling construction phase for this key Yangtze River Delta integration project. The pilot section is 10.24 km long with a design speed of 160 km/h. In the future, it will connect with Shanghai's Jiamin Line at the provincial boundary, further promoting regional integration.

Wanzhou Section of Chongqing-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway Completes All Box Girder Prefabrication Tasks

As part of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network, specifically the Baotou-Yinchuan-Haikou and Beijing-Kunming corridors, the newly constructed Chongqing-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway (Yuwan HSR) achieved new progress on November 23. The Xiangshuizhen Beam Prefabrication Yard in Wanzhou, contracted by China Railway 11th Bureau Group, completed prefabrication of all 301 box girders. This lays a crucial foundation for subsequent girder erection and ballastless track laying, marking a phased accomplishment in the project's construction.

Mexico City Metro Line 1 Modernization Project Undertaken by CRRC Achieves Full Line Through Operation

On November 16 local time in Mexico, the section from Juanacatlán Station to Observatorio Station on the Mexico City Metro Line 1 overall modernization project, undertaken by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd., officially opened. This achieves through operation for all 20 stations on the line. CRRC Zhuzhou stated this marks a milestone breakthrough for the project. The project includes four major aspects: line transformation and maintenance services, station platform reinforcement and full-line maintenance; replacement of onboard signaling systems for 10 trains and whole-train maintenance; supply of 29 nine-car rubber-tired metro trains and their maintenance (the first 2 produced domestically in China, the remaining 27 produced locally in Mexico); and replacement and maintenance of control systems, including supply and installation of CBTC automatic train operation signaling and communication systems and maintenance of the above systems.

First Batch of EMUs and Electric Locomotives for Malaysia Export Roll Off Production Line at CRRC Dalian

The first batch of Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) and electric locomotives tailor-made by CRRC Dalian Co., Ltd. for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project in Malaysia officially rolled off the production line in Dalian on the 18th. According to Ding Yiheng, an electrical designer from the Locomotive Development Department of CRRC Dalian, the EMUs adopt domestically leading Fuxing series train control technology, with "intelligentization, high-end specifications, and lightweight" as the core design concepts. The EMUs are equipped with a train network control system with dual-redundancy protection, capable of real-time monitoring of key systems like traction, high-voltage, and auxiliary systems. Through structural optimization for lightweight design, the entire train reduces energy consumption while improving operational efficiency, fully embodying green manufacturing concepts.
